Hill Country
Hill Country is the invaluable treasure of Sri Lanka. Many rivers take their rise from this hill country and flow through the plains and reach the sea. Hill Country has a cold climate all the time salubrious. Green carpeted mountain slope tea bushes. Rising clouds, gleaming tea factories, ever-green rain forests, and wonderful waterfalls are extremely attractive and surprising.
Sri Lankan tea is world-famous and is the main cash crop planted by British rulers in 1863. Before the plantation, they tried coffee unfortunately all the coffee plants died of coffee pests. The entrepreneur James Taylor imported the first tea plant from Cathay and succeeded.
The tourists who miss visiting up country are just unlucky.
